100 years ago, during Christmas 1914, something amazing happened. The English and German troops on either side of the trenches initiated a Christmas ceasefire, and suddenly, no man’s land was filled with troops from either side. The soldiers exchanged gifts, sang carols, and even played soccer in a moment that made history.
