The Atlantic Ocean Road is a winding strip of highway connecting a 5 mile archipelago in Norway. It has been declared by some as the best roadtrip in the world – it’s true, the view is amazing – but it’s also incredibly dangerous, especially when there are hurricanes.
In this video, you can see just how scary the road is in less-than-ideal weather conditions. Enormous waves whip up over the sides of the road, either slamming into unsuspecting drivers, or causing them to brake until the wave is past. With all the hills and curves in the road, I certainly wouldn’t want to be driving there when it is this wet!
Now this is one road I don’t think I’d catch myself driving on. EVER. #crazy
